About Ghosts of Wolf 359

On stardate 44002.3 a fleet consisting of forty Federation ships and five ships from the Klingon empire engaged one Borg cube. Having previously assimilated Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his knowledge of Starfleet tactics and technology into its collective consciousness, obliterated the Starfleet and Klingon forces. With thirty-nine ships lost and 11,000 hands lost, the battle of Wolf 359 remains as the largest defeat in Starfleets history.

It has been forty-three years since that tragic epic battle and with the death toll being so high their were a large number of personel that were never found and were added to the killed in action list. After numerous reports of sightings of people reported as being lost in the battle of Wolf 359, an investigation of the deaths was ordered. Starfleet looked into the matter and had found nothing that would corroborate with the reports and so the reports were dismissed. Some felt the investigation was handled properly and effectively while others felt their was a conspiracy in regards to this matter. Even though Starfleet command continued to dismiss the validity of these reports, the sightings continued.

In 2308 the USS Achilles was engaged in combat with four Klingon war birds, facing destruction the Captain of the Achilles was about to give the order to abandon ship when a Starfleet vessel warped into the system and engaged the Klingons. The Federation vessel made short work of the Klingon vessels and before the Captain of the Achilles could get a message out to their saviour the Federation ship warped out. Before warping out the Achilles tactical officer was able to identify the ship as the USS Kal'El. Hearing the report the Captains response was "Impossible that ship was destroyed at the battle of Wolf 359" the tactical officer responded with " I am sorry Captain the report is confirmed that ship was the USS Kal'El".

From that point on it was obvious there was more to these stories and rumors, same say it is possible that it was a cover up by Section 31 and others believe that the sightings of ships and personel that were known to be lost at the battle of Wolf 359 were ghosts returning to right once went wrong. It is undeniable what people have seen and witnessed is the truth.

Is this an elaborate cover up by Section 31?

Or are there Ghosts returning from the dead to help the helpless?
